Judy album boldly signed on the reverse in black fountain pen, “Love, Judy Garland.” With scattered overall rubbing and wear to covers, some tiny chips and partially separated edges on all sides, corner crease to bottom left corner, and a small notation to bottom right corner of reverse, otherwise fine condition. The record is included. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. Released in 1956, the album features 11 Judy classics, from ‘Come Rain or Come Shine’ to ‘Any Place I Hang My Hat is Home’ and it received some of the best reviews of Garland’s recording career. As the New Yorker expressed, at this point in time, ‘Judy Garland is at the top of her form.’ Despite a few condition issues, mentioned for accuracy, the boldness of this signature is simply astounding. We have only seen a handful of authentically signed Garland albums in over 30 years, and absolutely none with the stellar signature quality this piece presents. Picturing the icon in a few different poses on the signed side, brings the essence of Judy to life—this could very well be the focal point of any Judy Garland collection.
